Findus

EQT II bought Findus AB in 2000 from Nestlé.

Findus originated in 1941 in southern Sweden and quickly developed to become the number one Scandinavian frozen food manufacturer. Today it is a leading international Frozen Food business, operating in the Retail and Foodservice sectors. It grows, develops, produces and markets a complete range of frozen food products including vegetables, vegetable mixes, prepared meals, recipe dishes and seafood. Findus products are sold in at least 20 countries with own operations in all Nordic markets, France, Central and Eastern Europe and Thailand. 

EQT II sold the company in 2006 to CapVest Equity Partners.
